Can I book for a stag do? - Although camping can be great option for these functions, due to the quiet nature of the site and for our own peace of mind we do not allow hen or stag groups nor do we allow any group larger that 10 people.

Can we have a fire? - Yes, campfires can be made within our washing machine drums or any stable contained container raised off the ground. We ask that no building timber is burned or any wood with a greater moisture content than 20% to reduce air pollution. Please familiarise yourselves with the nearest fire extinguishers once on site.

Can we have a bbq ? - Yes, as above and please don’t use deposable bbq directly on the grass as they leave burned squares.

Can I drive to my pitch? - As a car free campsite we do not allow any motorised vehicles into the camping area. There are large twin wheel barrows to move your gear to your chosen pitch from the carpark.

Can I bring a trailer tent? - Yes. We can help you push the trailer to your chosen spot.
​
Can I bring my vintage caravan, its really pretty? Despite your caravan looking pretty we are unable to accommodate any caravan or tear drop trailer, this is due to a planning regulation.

Can I use a roof tent? - Absolutely! Please book a Campervan pitch.

Can I hang my hammock? - Yes you can, please use appropriate suspension so you don't damage the trees.
​
Do you have a shop? - We do not have a shop but we do sell fire wood. There is a small shop in the village that you can walk to.
​
What’s the wifi code? - Although we encourage all guests to pursue a digital detox we understand that sometimes the internet is an invaluable resource. We do not provide wifi but there is a good mobile phone signal on all carriers.

Can I plug in my hair straighteners? - No. As an off grid site we do not have any 240v electricity and the tousled look is on point.

I need an electric hook up - No you don’t.

How do the toilets work and do they smell? - click here to find out more about our composting toilets.

Do you have a chemical toilet disposal point? - We do not, however our toilets are not far from the campervan area.

Will you freeze ice blocks? - We will do what we can to freeze your ice blocks overnight although we would encourage you to be self sufficient. Try freezing your food and using it as it defrosts and using a camping fridge attached to a solar panel.

How far is the beach? - Approximately 30 minutes drive.

Can I wash my magical tools in your stream? - er, yes.

Is your Lion fencing tall enough? - Probably not.

Can I sublet a plot with my own glamping pod on? - No
