Terms and Conditions

On confirmation of your booking a binding contract will be made between the person making the booking together with all members of his or her party (‘you’) and the owners of Wardley Hill Campsite ('we' or 'us') agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

When booking you may choose to pay 100% or a 40% deposit with the balance payable no less than 14 days before your arrival day. Non payment of your balance will result in your booking being cancelled.

 

Should you need to cancel or alter your booking please inform us as soon as possible. Alterations are only possible up to 10 days before arrival date and may incur an admin charge of £10.

For cancellations by you, a full refund (minus the booking agent's commission if applicable  & £10 admin fee) will be issued up to 14 days before your arrival date. A 50% refund (minus the booking agent's commission if applicable & £10 admin fee) will be issued between 14 days and 7 days of date of arrival.

No refunds will be given for cancellations given within 7 days of the date of arrival or for a no show.

No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave due to failure to follow these conditions.

Please note if  booking via a third party platform such as campsites or Hipcamp you will enter into an agreement with that company not us.

We are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

If we are unable honour your booking due to government coronavirus (covid-19) restrictions we will re arrange your booking for another time within 2 years of the original arrival date. If you have to cancel or alter your booking due to local restrictions, self isolation requirements or covid-19 itself then our standard policy above applies.

Booking of our Too Posh To Pitch units will require a security deposit. This will be in the form of reserved funds on your card during your stay.

The following conditions are written somewhat reluctantly however over the years we have learnt that to

maintain our sites special ambiance there needs to be some guidance for what we expect from our guests.

Check in for the Huts and pre erected tents is anytime between 4pm and 8pm and check out is by 10am.

Tents and campervans may arrive anytime between 1pm and sunset departing by midday.

Do not invite anyone not on your booking onto the site - No Visitors

Group bookings are limited to 10 people including children.

Do not camp within 10 meters of another group.

We do not allow smoking in any of our accommodation or facilities.

Booking of our 4x4 expedition field requires all vehicles to be 4x4 or 4wd.

Dogs must be well behaved and kept on a lead at all times except when on the recreation field.

​Caravans, tear drop trailers & RVs are not allowed on site and campervans and other vehicles used for sleeping must not be heavier than 3500kg MAM. This is due to a planning regulation.

Camp fires must be raised off the ground and contained. Do not burn building off cuts, treated or damp wood. We have wood available to buy on site. There are fire drums to borrow.

We do not allow pets in our tents. Pets must be paid for as an extra when booking and pets in our huts will be provided with a bed and treat. 

Damages to our property will be charged for.

Too posh to pitch (glamping) guests are expected to leave their accommodation in a clean and tidy condition having washed up and stripped their beds. An excess cleaning fee of £50 may be charged if this is not done (sounds so harsh but sadly has to be said for our safety). Please inform us of any breakages or damage before leaving the site.

Take responsibility for your own actions and don't go hurting yourselves while staying on site...or anywhere else for that matter.

Smile, we are nearly there.

Motor Vehicles are not allowed onto the camping field.

Music may be played but must not be audible to any other guests. Site radios are not suitable for camping because they are too good! and as such are banned. Please leave your projectors and generators at home too.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you, your vehicles or possessions during your stay.

We reserve the right to change these terms at anytime.

Respect current social distancing and government coronavirus guidelines at all times.

Courtesy to other guests is essential at all times.

Failure to comply with the above conditions may result in your current and/or future bookings being cancelled and access to the campsite revoked immediately.
